hey there

This quickly became my favorite room! Once upon a time, this room was an office, then a sitting area, and then a pop-up school room in March of 2020. After realizing my children would be schooling at home longer than expected I decided to do a full room makeover. Gosh, I wish I could find the before pictures of this space.

West elm Book Shelf

We love to read so the bookshelf was a must! On it, I store art supplies, display books that are favorites, treasures from our travels, my childhood dictionary, record player, and other learning activities for the littles. Plus as many plants as my Husband will tolerate. I’m all about happy spaces that are welcoming to the kids but also pretty.

This! So many favorites in this little spot. The Samsung Frame TV, Holy worth it! Not only is it stunning but it was a huge help during homeschool. I was able to mirror my iPad and teach lessons. Also airplay learning videos and Church daily which was easy and kept the kids from having to sit close to a computer. The defuser is from Doterra and it’s AMAZING because itsssssss wireless! I can move it with us around the house! The tabletop books are some of my favorite cookbooks, Mostly Plants is a great one. The bowl is hand-made by an artist in Sitka Alaska and was gifted to me by our family living there. It was so beautiful I put it on display.

A note to my sweet boy who never sits on his butt at the dinner table. After falling and denting the wall three times I left him a reminder. -xo mom
